Steve Palmer
, describes the title track Apparitionas,An edgy song about a woman beckoned to break away from a demonic force that wants to control and destroy her.”  This storyline applies to obstacles Palmer has confronted in bringing his songs public - songs that are “timeless and transcend genre” (Celebrity Café, 2010). One break occurred at their Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) performance andnomination for “Apparition” (Best AC/AAA Song).

Palmer was interviewed by Maximum Ink, In The Now, Power Play, Traverse City Eagle Record and KJAG-FM DJ James Lowe who is a “big fan”.  This follows taped concerts in Nashville at Mercy Lounge, Sound Check and 3rd Avenue South.  SPB recorded two CDs at Cue, Omega and Blackbird Studios in Nashville . . . one four times and the other three times. “Well by our eight effort, I hope we get the thing tamper proof. After years of hocus pocus in studios, we ended up at a basement studio called Downtown Battery Studios, which is my favorite room.”

In running AR, Steve applies business sense he learned working in yards, restaurants like The Keg and Alligators, and supermarkets, starting a student paper in England, bringing black and white student groups together to promote appearances by Dick Gregory, Chick Corea and Gil Scott Heron, interning with Ald. Danny Davis on Chicago’s West Side, and working as a professional in New York, Philly and Washington D.C.

Steve adds, “I won’t be satisfied until my music gets out to the people and hard times for artists are gone.  People need great music to feel good and be inspired to hope and dream. And that’s what I hope to give everyone."
